Market Development

Toronto, Ontario•Full-time
CA$3,500 - CA$4,000 monthly
About the Job
Location: Toronto/GTA—hybrid, with customer meetings and occasional travel
Reports to: Founder & CEO

The opportunity:
  • MarkiTech builds healthcare AI products and digital transformation solutions. Our portfolio includes CliniScripts, an AI-native clinical workflow platform, and Heyliaa, its 24/7 AI agent layer for front- and back-office healthcare workflows.
  • We are hiring a hands-on, sales hunter and business development leader to create and close net-new revenue. This is a hunter role—not an account-management or sales operations position and not a job for someone waiting for inbound leads.

What you will own:
  • Build a focused target-account strategy and generate your own pipeline.
  • Open doors with healthcare executives, clinic owners, digital health companies, and strategic partners.
  • Lead discovery across clinical, operational, technology, and financial stakeholders.
  • Translate customer problems into a CliniScripts pilot, Heyliaa deployment, or MarkiTech services engagement.
  • Own opportunities from first conversation through proposal, negotiation and signature.
  • Build business cases, proposals, and executive presentations with the CEO and delivery team.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM, pipeline, and forecast reporting.
  • Turn successful early deals into a repeatable sales playbook.

What success looks like:
  • A credible, self-generated pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Signed pilots and commercial agreements with strong expansion potential.
  • Faster movement from first meeting to a defined buying process.
  • Clear evidence of which markets, messages, and channels produce revenue.
  • Reduced dependence on the CEO for prospecting and day-to-day deal progression.

What you bring:
  • A demonstrated record of winning net-new B2B technology or services business.
  • Experience with complex, consultative sales involving multiple decision-makers.
  • The ability to sell both a defined product and a tailored business solution.
  • Strong executive communication, commercial judgment, and follow-through.
  • Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial environment where the playbook is still being built.
  • The ability to work regularly with customers and partners across the Toronto/GTA market.

Healthcare, healthtech, or another regulated-industry background is valuable, but measurable hunting and closing performance matters more than a perfect industry résumé.

Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus meaningful performance-based compensation tied to net-new business.
